Performing ARTS EDUCATION
“I have worked in Arts Education for 15 years. Artistic mentorship is my life’s purpose and I provide a fun, safe, inclusive, professional environment for student artists to grow. I build stars. My students are represented at nearly every theater on Long Island, oftentimes as the leading roles. Local artistic directors, choreographers, music directors, and directors praise my ability to take a student artist from ordinary to extraordinary. My teaching approach is unique to each student artist and I am passionate about giving them all of the theatrical and real-life skills needed to thrive in the theatre industry.”
THE MUSIC BOX is an intimate, classically designed cabaret theater that seats up to 25 audience members. Complete with a stage, sound system, theatrical LED lighting, 2 pianos, an in-house Martin acoustic guitar, professional recording capabilities, and a small backstage dressing space - it’s the perfect space to hold small classes and solo/small ensemble performances.
What is the Monthly Masterclass Series?
Each month, we welcome one of Broadway’s best and brightest to The Music Box to share invaluable artistic insight with our students. A new guest is announced each month. Sometimes it’ll be a Broadway star, sometimes a casting director, or an agent, or a choreographer, or a theatrical technician, or a music director, or a composer/lyricist…
Our goal at RobbieTorresTheatricals is bringing Broadway’s brightest stars and educators to directly YOU, here on Long Island. It’s sometimes said - “Those who can’t do, teach.” That is not the case here. We believe we can do, and teach, and share our professional experience actively working in the ever-changing Broadway industry - sharing our expertise with the LI Theatre Community. So, here’s to doing AND teaching!
Stay up-to-date on all #monthlymasterclass guest artists right here! And share with your friends! Thank you for supporting Arts Education and a small, locally owned business. We are grateful for your support and belief in our mission!
